Company C

Company C started in 1994, with Walter and Christine Chapin’s dream of designing, manufacturing and distributing their own products. From their home-based office, the Chapins began selling handmade area rugs to interior designers across the country.

Within two years, Walter and Chris established a relationship with an Indian rug manufacturer and went to work designing their own rugs. Using bold, vivid colors and casual designs, the Chapins created the foundation for the first Company C collection, which made its debut at the New York Home Textiles Market in 1997.

Today, Company C products can be found in more than 600 stores worldwide. With a new product line scheduled to launch this summer, the design team has already started to work on Spring 2007 designs.
